Dr. Sarah Sanchez received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Before attending physical therapy school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from The Texas A&M University—Corpus Christi, where she was a member of the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Team. Throughout her career she gained clinical experience at inpatient, orthopedic and sports facilities which has aided her in the treatment of neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions.
Sarah has used her athletic background and personal rehabilitation experiences after athletic injuries to help develop her intervention strategy. She believes in combining exercise, strength training, gait training, manual therapy techniques, and education to promote optimum health and maximize function. Sarah is also trained and certified in Dry Needling, as well as Vestibular and Post-Concussive conditions. She is currently working in pursuit of achieving her Certification in Strength and Conditioning and her Sports Specialist Certification.
Outside of the clinic, Sarah resides in South Central Austin with her dog, Miles Davis. She enjoys participating in everything the city has to offer; including attending shows, being outdoors, and discovering new places to eat and hang with family and friends.
